What footage works best?
Vertical takes from your phone, talking to the camera, plus any b-roll or screen recordings you want shown. Several takes of the same line are fine: the editor keeps the best one.
Do I need a script?
No, but the editor works far better with one. Without a script, it has to guess what you meant to say.
Can I use my own music?
Yes, and we recommend it.
What if a reel fails?
It doesn't count against your usage, and you can try again.
How long do you keep my files?
Your raw footage is deleted automatically 7 days after you make the reel. Finished reels are kept for 90 days. You can turn a share link off at any time, and delete or re-edit your footage any time.
Who sees my footage?
Only you and anyone you send a share link to. To plan and check your edit, still frames, the transcript, your script and your brief go to the AI model the editor uses, which doesn't train on them. The privacy page names it.
